The Senegalese Association of Northern California (SANOCA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to serve the Senegalese community, contribute to its social, and cultural development as well as to facilitate its relationships with Senegalese and local officials.

WHAT WE DO

Create a common ground for the Senegalese community.

Maintain a close relationship among the Senegalese community.

Manage Members’ relation with local and Senegalese government.

Promote cultural, intellectual and social activities.

Assist the Senegalese to integrate the American society.

BECOME A MEMBER

Membership of the Association shall be open to the following, irrespective of political party, religion or political opinion:

All Senegalese living in Northern California who are willing to adhere.

All spouses of Senegalese living in northern California and willing to adhere.

JOIN SANOCA

Admission and Adhesion


To be admitted as a Member of the Association, one must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Comply with the Association’s charter.
  • Pay an adhesion fee which amount will be fixed by the General Assembly.
  • Pay a yearly fee of $140 payable once, monthly or quarterly.

Duration

The Association has an unlimited duration.

The Association is a non-profit and non-religious organization, and is not affiliated with any union or corporation.
